Assigning responsibility to the head if officials violate traffic laws

NGÂN HÀ |

Dak Lak will assign direct responsibility to the head if officials under management violate the errors that are the main cause of traffic accidents.

On January 31, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch on strengthening solutions to improve the effectiveness of ensuring traffic order and safety in the area.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requests agencies and units to promote propaganda and education for officials, civil servants, and public employees to raise awareness of law compliance.

In which, the province will assign responsibility to the head of the unit if cadres, party members, civil servants, and public employees violate errors that are the main causes of traffic accidents such as: speeding, alcohol concentration, non-compliance with traffic light signals....

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also strictly prohibits leaders of departments, branches, and localities from interfering or influencing in the process of handling violations by functional forces. Ban agencies from using equipment emitting priority vehicle signals in violation of regulations.

In addition, the province also requested relevant units to urgently overcome irrationalities in traffic organization; repair damaged roads and accelerate the construction progress of bridge and road projects, ensuring absolute safety during construction.

At the same time, propagate and disseminate legal education on traffic order and safety in many diverse and rich forms.

Promote the effectiveness of communication channels and social networks such as zalo, facebook, tiktok... to convey messages about traffic safety, violations of traffic accident warnings and good people and good deeds in ensuring traffic order and safety.

Before the regulations of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee on assigning responsibility to heads if officials and civil servants violate the errors that are the main cause of traffic accidents, many people expressed their agreement.

Mr. Hoang Van Hung, a resident of Buon Ma Thuot ward, said that he fully supports this policy. According to Mr. Hung, officials and civil servants must be exemplary in complying with the law.

If the head does not manage strictly, allowing subordinates to violate, they need to take responsibility. This regulation is very necessary to ensure security and order, traffic safety, we for everyone, everyone for us.
