When Dak Lak and Phu Yen officially merged into the new Dak Lak province, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hanh (Dak Lak) was very happy.
Ms. Hanh said: When merging with Phu Yen province, Dak Lak will be large and have a lot of potential for development. I hope the local government will have decisions on rapid and sustainable economic development".
Mr. Y Luyet Enut Long (Lien Son Lak commune, Dak Lak) expressed his joy that the new Dak Lak has more development space when merging with Phu Yen.
Nay Dak Lak has both forests and seas. This is the potential for developing marine tourism - forestry, cultural exchange... I hope the Party and State will pay attention to investing in the transportation system, facilitating trade, and developing the socio-economy", Mr. Y Luyet expected.
Appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Ea Knuek commune (Dak Lak), Ms. Ngo Thi Minh Trinh said that this is both an honor and a great responsibility.
Ms. Trinh said that starting from July 1, a People's Council meeting will be held to issue resolutions for organizations to work. After that, the commune will officially issue working regulations as well as prepare all contents to organize the Commune Party Congress.
"We must be determined and resolute.Because the operation of the new locality is a very heavy responsibility.If we are not determined, we will never complete the task, Ms. Trinh shared.
Regarding the new way of operating local government, Ms. Trinh added that she had encouraged cadres and civil servants to make every effort.
"There is nothing difficult, I am just afraid that my heart will not last.Determined to do our best, let's learn about things we don't know, so that the main purpose is to serve the people," Ms. Trinh expressed her determination.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, expressed his determination, together with the collective leadership to devote all their efforts to the development of the province in the new period.
We strive to overcome difficulties to implement the policies and guidelines of the Party and State, determined to build Dak Lak province to develop quickly, sustainably, richly and civilizedly, contributing to the whole country entering an era of strong development of the Vietnamese people, Mr. Trung emphasized.
The new Dak Lak province has an area of over 1,809 km2, a population of over 3.3 million people and includes 102 administrative units at the commune level.
