With a passenger terminal worth 35,000 billion VND, the most important item at Long Thanh airport, the joint venture of contractors mobilized more than 5,300 personnel and over 1,000 machinery and equipment for construction, and has basically completed the construction phase and is currently focusing on installing terminal equipment.
In which, the baggage handling system (BHS) has installed 2,790/2,792 tons of steel floor materials (reaching 99%); completed the installation of about 7,500m of ICS straight and crude conveyor belts.
The system of scanning checked baggage and scanning hand-carried baggage has transported nearly 200 equipment to the construction site; is installing scanners and security scanning equipment in the domestic area.
The passenger bridge system has transported 26 sets to the construction site, and is being installed at many gates.
The aircraft landing system has brought 100 sets of VDGS to the construction site and input materials have been accepted; the contractor is urgently constructing supports and equipment at the gates.
Up to now, the elevator, walkway stairs, and elevator systems have been fully brought to the construction site and are being urgently installed.

Long Thanh Airport is built in Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province, mobilizing 15,000 personnel and 3,000 machinery and equipment for construction day and night to ensure commercial operation in the first half of 2026.
