There were also many passengers inside the security checkpoint area.

Ms. Luong Anh Nguyet's family (from Ha Nam province) shared that they were afraid of missing their flight, so they arrived 5 hours before the flight.

"Waiting for so long made my baby tired, but because of the peak of Tet, my family tried. The number of guests was beyond my expectation, luckily my family arrived early, completed all the procedures and are waiting to enter the security gate," Ms. Nguyet said hurriedly.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hai (from Quang Tri province) said that he was afraid of the crowded scene on the first day of the holiday so he booked a flight ticket for today but did not expect the number of passengers to be so large.

"I booked my ticket about a month ago. I also tried to avoid the first day off and flew today, but there were too many passengers. The roads around the airport were jammed for a long time, I almost missed my flight," Hai added.
