Metro Line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) put into operation has changed the travel habits of people in Ho Chi Minh City. However, the rapid increase in passenger volume has caused parking lots around the Ben Thanh underground station area to frequently become overloaded, causing difficulties for people to access trains.

Faced with this urgent need, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has officially issued a document directing the arrangement of the old Sen Hong stage (Zone B, 23/9 Park) as a temporary motorbike parking spot.

According to the plan, the current 2-wheeled parking lot in Zone A will be moved to this new location to serve passengers until there is a plan to build an official park or exploit urban railway infrastructure assets.
Sen Hong Theater has a prime location in the center of Ho Chi Minh City with an area of more than 1 hectare and a floor area of up to 6,000 m2. However, from mid-2019 to now, this project has been completely abandoned.

Real-world records show that the items here are seriously degraded, interspersed with weeds and many parts of the structure are peeling off and damaged due to lack of repair.
Taking advantage of this space not only helps eliminate the messy scenery in the center but also creates more favorable conditions for people. The Sen Hong stage location is about 350 m from the existing parking lot, which is considered the most optimal access point to Ben Thanh underground station compared to the options that have been considered.

The Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has assigned Thanh Nien xung phong Public Service Co., Ltd. to be responsible for organizing and managing motorbike parking here. This solution is expected to end the prolonged parking shortage for many months, especially during holidays when the number of Metro passengers increases sharply.
