On the morning of July 9, information from Quang Ninh Provincial Police said that Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Quang Ninh Provincial Police had just supported a pregnant woman in labor to the hospital safely.
At about 6:30 am on the same day, while performing the task of ensuring traffic order and safety in the Chua Trinh area, Yen Tu ward, the task force of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 discovered a pregnant woman showing signs of labor and needed to be taken to the hospital urgently.
Faced with the above situation, the task force used specialized vehicles to support bringing pregnant woman P.T. B. L. (born in 1998, residing in Hoang Que ward, Quang Ninh province) to Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi Hospital.
When the car just arrived at the hospital, the pregnant woman showed signs of labor and could not be transferred to the delivery room in time. Doctors and nurses supported the pregnant woman to give birth right in the car.
The pregnant woman then gave birth to a baby boy weighing 3.4kg.
After giving birth, the mother and baby were taken to the postpartum room for continued monitoring and care.
Currently, the health of the mother and baby is stable.
The timely support of the traffic police task force has contributed to ensuring safety for pregnant women and babies in emergency situations.
