Based on the submission of the Provincial People's Committee on the dismissal and additional election of members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term, the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council has carried out the dismissal procedure and voted to approve the Resolution confirming the results of dismissal from the title of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term for Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien - former Director of the Department of Industry and Trade - due to being transferred and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Mong Cai 1 ward and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - former Director of the Department of Education and Training - due to being transferred and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Hong Gai ward.
Next, the Provincial People's Council proceeded to elect additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term for Mr. Ho Quang Huy - former Secretary of Mong Cai 1 ward, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade and Mr. Le Ngoc Thanh - former Secretary of Hong Gai ward, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
As a result, Mr. Ho Quang Huy - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade and Mr. Le Ngoc Thanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - were trusted by the Provincial People's Council to be elected to the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term with 49/49 (100%) votes according to regulations.
The Provincial People's Council also voted to approve the Resolution confirming the results of the additional election of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee members for the 2026-2031 term for Mr. Ho Quang Huy and Mr. Le Ngoc Thanh.
