Gia Lai - Due to storms and floods, a large amount of traffic has collapsed the bridge on an important traffic route.

On the morning of November 7, the authorities of Gia Lai province blocked and blocked the Truong Son Dong road section through Po To commune (old Ia Pa district) after the Khe bridge collapse due to floodwaters.

At about 1:00 a.m. the same day, the cliek bridge located on the Truong Son Dong route through village 4, Po To commune suddenly collapsed when floodwaters from upstream poured in.

The incident collapsed about 10 m of the approach road and bridge abutment, sweeping away the entire infrastructure at this location.

Immediately after receiving the information, the People's Committee of Po To commune mobilized local forces to coordinate with the Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police) to set up checkpoints at both ends of the bridge, put up warning signs and instruct people not to move into dangerous areas.

The bridge collapse caused traffic disruption in the area, greatly affecting the travel and transportation of goods of local people.

This is also a vital traffic route, with a large volume of vehicles passing through, serving the travel needs between the old Ia Pa district and the old Kong Chro district via National Highway 19.

Fortunately, there were no people or vehicles passing through at the time of the incident.
