According to the People's Committee of Son La province, this policy aims to synchronize with the roadmap to end the operation of district-level administrative units, overcome the situation of spread and overlap in capital management between associations. At the same time, improve financial coordination capacity, effectively serve agricultural development goals, support farmers to increase income, improve their lives.
All financial resources, assets, functions and tasks of district-level Farmers' Support Funds will be transferred to the Provincial Farmers' Support Fund for management (excluding organizational structure and personnel). The merger is required to be carried out publicly and transparently, with full handover records as prescribed, ensuring no financial or property losses.
The capital mobilized locally will continue to be prioritized for that locality, ensuring the maintenance of stable and effective production and business models, without interrupting the activities of supporting loans being implemented.
The merger also contributes to creating conditions for the Farmers' Association of Son La province to improve credit performance, meeting the requirements of digital transformation and administrative reform according to the orientation of the Party and State.
