Natural disasters caused 30 houses to have their roofs blown off, 11 electric poles to break, many cars were damaged by fallen trees, and one person was injured. The estimated damage is nearly 3 billion VND.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong, after the rain and thunderstorms, the authorities organized an inspection and supported people to overcome the damage.
Lam Dong Power Company handles power outages caused by poles and power lines affected by wind and rain.
Local authorities of communes and wards coordinate with professional units to organize the handling of fallen trees, clear the scene and count the damage to have a handling plan.
Lam Dong provincial authorities proactively regulate the water flow discharged through the spillway to ensure safety for irrigation dams and hydroelectric power plants.
Previously, on July 20, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a telegram requesting departments, branches and localities to implement solutions to respond to storm Wipha.
