According to the planning plan reported by the Quang Ninh Economic Zone (EZ) Management Board, the Bac Luan bridge area will plan the Customs clearance route/specialized road for transporting goods of Bac Luan 3 bridge belonging to Mong Cai International Border Gate with a scale of about 55.3ha; logistics area adjacent to Bac Luan 3 border gate area with a scale of about 360ha; industrial park south of Luc Lam River with a scale of about 265ha; new additional logistics area (transferred from the Hai Hoa sports urban area project) with a scale of about 110ha.
Regarding the Bac Luan 3 bridge project, Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee assigned Mong Cai 1 Ward People's Committee to approve the results of reviewing the actual land use status, and complete the land recovery plan to hand over the plan in May 2026.
The plan for planning and construction of Km3+4 bridge includes: The length of the access road to the bridge is about 303m, synchronous with the main bridge. The main bridge (the Vietnamese section) is about 160m long, the structure uses prestressed concrete box girders cast on site; the cross-section of the main bridge is 22m wide, ensuring 4 two-way lanes and 2 pedestrian lanes.
Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee assigned that, based on the bridge construction plan agreed upon by both sides (Mong Cai 3, Vietnam - Dong Hung, China) in accordance with regulations, the Economic Zone Management Board is responsible for completing the road planning infrastructure to recover land and implement it.
