The Office of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 1883/VP-UBND-TC on piloting normal customs clearance on weekends at the goods control channel in the Bac Luan II bridge area.
According to the content of the official dispatch, on March 5, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Van Anh chaired a meeting to listen to a report on the pilot implementation of goods clearance on the weekend at the goods control channel in the Bac Luan II bridge area.
Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Van Anh assigned the Quang Ninh Border Gate Management Board to have a document responding to the Department of Trade and Border Gate Management of Dongxing City (China) to agree to pilot the implementation of normal customs clearance on the weekend at the Dongxing border gate goods control channel (Bac Luan II bridge border gate area) from March 7, and at the same time request the Department of Trade and Border Gate Management of Dongxing City to widely inform the business community about the customs clearance time on the weekend.
Assign the Economic Zone Management Board and functional forces at the border gate to proactively arrange human resources, equipment, and ensure smooth and uninterrupted customs clearance of goods and vehicles on weekends.
Requesting logistics and border gate service enterprises, Tan Dai Duong International Import-Export Joint Stock Company to implement effective solutions, arrange sufficient equipment to serve customs clearance activities in the Bac Luan II bridge area.
Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant agencies to promote information to import-export enterprises inside and outside the province about the implementation of weekend customs clearance; continue to reform administrative procedures, creating maximum convenience for import and export activities.
It is requested that Tan Dai Duong International Import-Export Joint Stock Company and enterprises operating in the field of logistics and services at the border gate (Bac Luan II bridge area) review relevant revenues, have official written notices on the policy of exemption and reduction of service prices of enterprises sent to the Provincial People's Committee, functional forces and widely announce to import-export enterprises.
