Thai Nguyen - A large number of students were present early at the polling stations to vote to elect National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.

On the morning of March 15, in the common atmosphere of the all-people festival, a large number of Thai Nguyen voters were present at the polling stations to exercise their rights and obligations as citizens.

In the voting area No. 25 (Phan Dinh Phung ward), preparation work was carried out early, and the area for listing voters and candidates was arranged according to regulations.

Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong - Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee attended the opening ceremony and performed citizens' rights and obligations in the voting area No. 25.

In the morning, many voters were present early to participate in the election, the stages of guiding the recording of ballots, checking voter lists and sealing ballot boxes were carried out by the election team according to regulations.

Many students studying in the province also participated in the voting with the belief of selecting worthy delegates, representing the will and aspirations of the people.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha (a first-year student at the University of Science - Thai Nguyen University) said that this is the first time she has directly participated in the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels.

According to Ms. Ha, before the election day, she spent time learning about the biography, working process as well as the action program of the candidates listed in the polling area.

Proactively learning helps yourself have more basis to make a suitable choice.

The vote is small but shows the responsibility of each citizen for the development of the country.

I hope that the selected delegates will truly listen to the opinions of voters, including the young generation, to have policies to contribute to building an increasingly developed country," Ms. Thu Ha shared.

Also present early at the polling station, student Tran Hoang Nam - University of Science said that the election day brought me many special emotions.

According to Mr. Nam, this is not only a right but also a sacred duty of every citizen. Direct participation in voting helps students better understand their role and responsibility to society.

As students, we always want to contribute the voice of the young generation to the common development of the country.

Through my vote, I place my trust in delegates who are dedicated, capable, and ready to act for the benefit of the people and the sustainable development of the country," Mr. Nam said.

According to information from the Thai Nguyen Provincial Election Commission, today, more than 1.27 million voters will participate in the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term in 1,503 polling stations throughout the province.
