On the morning of October 16, the working delegation of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command (CHQS) led by Colonel Nguyen Tai Tinh - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command visited and offered incense to the remains of martyrs who had just been gathered in Quang Tri ward.

According to the Provincial Military Command, as of October 16, the number of martyrs' remains found and gathered in the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel (Quang Tri Ward) was 32 sets of martyrs' remains and 2 more martyrs' remains discovered at Truong Bo De relic (Quang Tri Ward).
The remains were discovered with many relics such as tree hats, infantry shells, AK ammunition boxes, etc. Currently, the remains have been brought to thevenement at the Quang Tri Special National Monument Shelter, where Team 584 is coordinating with local authorities to take care of the incense.
Here, the Provincial Military Command's working delegation offered incense, respectfully bowed down to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. On this occasion, Colonel Nguyen Tai Tinh and the working delegation also visited and encouraged the officers and staff of Team 584, acknowledging the unit's sense of responsibility and efforts in the process of carrying out the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains, and at the same time requested to continue surveying and collecting information to achieve higher results in the collection work in the coming time.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, during the process of renovating and embellishing relics in Quang Tri Ward, the construction unit discovered a number of military relics, so it reported to the local authorities, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Military Command.
Immediately afterwards, the Provincial Military Command directed Team 584 ( Political Department) to organize a survey and search. From September 14 to October 9, 27 sets of martyrs' remains in the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and 2 martyrs' remains at Truong Bo De relic were discovered and collected.
