Main problems in households
After more than 3 months of responding to the emulation movement "500 days and nights of competition to complete 3,000km of expressway" launched by the Prime Minister, Quang Binh province has implemented activities to accelerate the completion of the items.
On December 2, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province announced that the project to build the North-South expressway in the East phase 2021 - 2025, the section through Quang Binh province, will be implemented from 2022, including 3 component projects with a length of 126.43km through 6/8 districts, towns, cities and 35 communes, wards/151 communes, wards, and towns.
Up to now, the results of site clearance have been handed over to Project Management Board 6 and Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board - Ministry of Transport is 126.33km/126.43km (reaching 99.92%), the remaining 105m is expected to be handed over in November 2024. Relocation of technical infrastructure works (medium voltage, low voltage power lines, telecommunications, transformer stations, BTS stations) has reached about 89% of the volume.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Le Thuy district said that more than 100m of this land is concentrated in the area where people live, the household has agreed to hand over the land, however, due to unfavorable weather, the land has not been demolished yet. Another family with a length of about 3-5m has received compensation and handed over the land. This family is requesting road support, the unit has made a plan for the family, but has not agreed yet.
Many reasons
Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee said that investors, project management boards, and contractors are committed and determined to complete the tasks according to the set schedule; regularly inspect and supervise the implementation of the emulation campaign to promptly commend and reward advanced models, share good initiatives and experiences, and replicate models and creative methods in the process of implementing the expressway construction project.
Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee pointed out that the emulation movement has only been implemented for a short time, so some agencies, units and localities have not implemented it extensively, in depth, and have not mobilized the active participation of all classes of people.
The increasingly complex climate change, natural disasters, floods, epidemics on crops and livestock... cause property damage and severely affect people's lives, income, living, production... This is the cause that directly affects the maintenance and improvement of criteria on socio-economic infrastructure, income, poor households, near-poor households, environment...
The final settlement of compensation and site clearance for some households to hand over the remaining sections of the expressway project is facing difficulties.
The People's Committee of Le Thuy district is speeding up the removal of obstacles, in the spirit of removing them as quickly as possible. In the past, the locality has focused on overcoming natural disasters, so in the near future, it will try to completely resolve the problems related to the North-South Expressway.
Mr. Tran Van Quang (residing in Le Thuy district) hopes that the construction of the North-South expressway will be completed soon, especially the section through Quang Binh. When the project is completed, people's travel will certainly be more convenient, saving time for each person.
