The Provincial Road 120C Investment and Construction Project (Yen Chau - Ta Khoa) with a project scope in Yen Chau District was approved under Decision No. 562/QD-UBND dated March 13, 2025 of the People's Committee of Son La Province.
This is a Group B project with a total approved investment of more than 312.7 billion VND, and the People's Committee of Yen Chau district is assigned as the project investor.
According to Lao Dong, recently, Yen Chau District People's Committee announced the invitation for bidding for Package No. 13: Construction and installation of the section Km0+00 to Km4+100 of the project.
The above construction package was widely bid online, with an estimated price of more than 103.4 billion VND from the balanced additional capital and land use fee revenue from the provincial budget. The package implementation period is 730 days.
At the same time that Package No. 13 was announced, there was also Package No. 14: Construction and installation of the section Km4+100 to Km8+200 has also begun to bid.
This construction package also constructs a 4.1 km long road as package No. 13. However, the estimated price of Package No. 14 is 56.4 billion VND, much lower than Package No. 13 (package No. 13 has a section within the urban area). The implementation period of this package is 910 days.
Thus, in the coming time, after the results of the contractor selection of packages 13 and 14 are approved by the investor, the project will simultaneously deploy the construction of 2 sections from Km0+00 to Km8+200.
Of which, there are more than 1.3 km of urban routes, 16.5 m wide roadbed, 10.5 m wide asphalt road surface, system: sidewalks, drainage, trees, lighting... built synchronously; design speed of 40km/h. The sections of the outer urban roadbed are 6.5 m wide (excluding the vertical ditches), the cement concrete road surface is 3.5 m wide; the design speed is 30km/h...
Both of the above packages are included in the Plan to select contractors for the Provincial Road Construction Investment Project 120C (Yen Chau - Ta Khoa) in the project area in Yen Chau district (from Km0+00 to Km16+200). The starting point of the route connects with Chu Van An Street, Yen Chau town; the end point is at the border between Yen Chau district and Bac Yen district, about Km16+200 in Pa Sang village, Sap Vat commune, Yen Chau district.
The project is invested with the goal of gradually completing the planned traffic infrastructure; creating convenient inter-regional traffic connections, breaking the monopoly of National Highway 37, shortening travel distances, meeting the needs of the people in traveling, exchanging, exchanging goods and promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security between Yen Chau and Bac Yen districts in particular and Son La province in general.
