On January 5, the People's Committee of Mo Vang commune, Lao Cai province informed that the working delegation had just organized visits and encouraged relatives of victims in the collapse of a house pillar.
Two days earlier, the family of Mr. Mua A Chu (born in 1988, residing in Suoi Dam village, Mo Vang commune) proceeded to build a wooden house frame. During the house construction process, Mr. Chu asked relatives, friends and neighbors to help, with about 40 people participating.
During the process of pulling and pushing to erect the second ledge of the house frame, because the ledge leg slipped, leading to falling, 5 people were injured. Among them, Mr. Mua A Chinh (born in 1977) was crushed by the ledge, causing serious injuries and death outside the hospital, and 4 other cases were scratched.
After receiving information about the incident, the Criminal Police Department (PC01) coordinated with the Criminal Technical Department (PC09) and Mo Vang Commune Police to conduct scene examination, autopsy and verify and clarify.
At the visit, the delegation of Mo Vang commune encouraged the victim's family to soon overcome the pain and stabilize their lives.
