The accident happened at about 1 pm on January 22 on DT 747 B road, the border between Tan Khanh and Tan Dong Hiep wards, Ho Chi Minh City.
The deceased victim was identified as Mr. D.V.T (50 years old, from Hai Phong).
Initial information, at the above time, Mr. D.V.T was driving a motorbike on DT 747 B road in the direction from Mieu Ong Cu intersection to Dong Nai province.
When reaching the border between Tan Khanh ward and Tan Dong Hiep ward (formerly Thai Hoa ward, Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province), an accident occurred with a truck running in the opposite direction.
The collision caused Mr. D.V.T to fall to the road, lying motionless. Discovering the accident, people ran to help, but when checked, the man had died. The incident was later reported to functional agencies.
Upon receiving the news, local functional forces were present to protect the scene and regulate traffic. By 3:30 pm on the same day, the scene of the accident had been handled.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified.
