The accident happened at about 1:30 PM on January 19, on 22/12 street, passing Thuan Giao ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
The young man who died in the accident was identified as D.V.T (25 years old, residing in Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Initial information, at the above time, Mr. D.V.T was driving a motorbike on 22/12 road from An Phu intersection to National Highway 13.
When the motorbike reached the Hoa Lan night market area, Thuan Giao ward, an accident occurred with a truck with license plate 61H-08xxx traveling in the same direction. The accident caused the young man on the motorbike to fall to the road and die on the spot.
At the scene, the young man's body was next to a motorbike close to the sidewalk. The truck involved in the accident stopped about 1km from the scene.
Upon receiving the news, units of Ho Chi Minh City Police were present to examine and handle the scene of the accident. The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified.
