The incident occurred on June 9. At about 16:30, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh (46 years old, residing in P.10, Da Lat City) was driving a car with license plate 49A-738.14, on the way from Ta Nung Commune to Da Lat City.
While climbing Ta Nung Pass (Da Lat), Mr. Thanh witnessed a young man driving a motorbike falling off his motorbike, causing a traumatic brain injury and blindfolded.
Seeing that, Mr. Thanh stopped the car to get the victim into the car and quickly took him to the hospital. On the about 10 km journey from the middle of Ta Nung Pass to Lam Dong General Hospital, Mr. Thanh turned on the priority lights, continuously honking for the road.

When arriving at the Hoang Van Thu - Ba Thang Hai intersection (next to Saigon - Da Lat Hotel), Mr. Thanh drove a car and ran over a red light.
After that, at the Ba Thang Hai - Nguyen Van Cu - Hai Thuong intersection, Mr. Thanh continued to honk the red light to take the accident victim to the hospital for emergency care.
The accident victim was Le Hoang Phuc (21 years old, residing on Dang Thai Than Street, Ward 3, Da Lat City). After receiving initial emergency care at Lam Dong General Hospital, Mr. Phuc was taken by his family to Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) for treatment.
Although he took the victim to the emergency room, Mr. Thanh was worried that the traffic police would fine him for running away and running a red light.

After the incident, Mr. Thanh wrote a petition to Lam Dong General Hospital to confirm the transportation of the person in a traffic accident to the hospital for emergency care.
On June 10, the Emergency Examination Department of Lam Dong General Hospital signed a confirmation that Mr. Thanh had taken patient Le Hoang Phuc (21 years old) to the emergency room at 5:10 p.m. on June 9 with a diagnosis of traumatic brain injury.

However, in the past 2 days, Mr. Thanh has been still worried and worried that he will be fined by traffic police after extracting the camera. Because if he was fined, Mr. Thanh would have to pay a large fine and have many points deducted from his driver's license.
