On the morning of August 20, news from the Thien Cam Tourist Area Management Board said that on the afternoon of August 19, a Hanoi tourist suffered a stroke while swimming in Thien Cam beach and died.
Accordingly, at around 6:00 p.m. on August 19, Mr. P.V.B (born in 1946, residing in Dong Ngac ward, Hanoi) was a tourist who was having a stroke while swimming at Thien Cam beach (Tien Cam commune).
After that, relatives and authorities performed first aid and transferred him to a medical facility. However, Mr. B died on the way to the emergency room.
After the incident, relatives determined that the victim died of a stroke, so the body was taken back to the countryside for burial.
Previously, in mid-May 2025, a 77-year-old woman from Nghe An province also suffered a stroke and died while swimming in Thien Cam beach.
In mid-June 2025, while swimming in Xuan Thanh beach (Ha Tinh), Mr. L.M (born in 1945, residing in Xuan Thanh commune, Ha Tinh province) and Ms. N.T.M.H (born in 1960, residing in Nghe An province) also suffered a stroke and died.
