On the afternoon of June 18, the leader of the People's Committee of Xuan Thanh commune (Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province) confirmed that two people had just died at the beach in the area, suspected to be from a stroke.
According to initial information, on the same morning, people discovered an old man dead on the beach in Xuan Thanh commune. At that time, an old woman showed unusual signs after swimming in the sea when she got ashore and died shortly thereafter.
The identities of the two victims were identified as Mr. L.M. (born in 1945, residing in Xuan Thanh commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province) and Ms. N.T.M.H. (born in 1960, residing in Vinh City, Nghe An Province).
According to the leader of Xuan Thanh commune, both victims were old and the initial cause of death was suspected to be a stroke while swimming in the sea.
Immediately after discovering the incident, the authorities were present at the scene to verify and investigate the cause of the incident.
The bodies of the two victims were then handed over to their families for funeral arrangements.
