On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Hanoi People's Committee organized the exhibition "Vietnam People's Public Security - 80 years for peaceful life" at the Hanoi Museum.

The exhibition currently displays more than 500 documents, artifacts and images along with more than 300 types of weapons, vehicles, and specialized technical equipment serving the work and combat of the People's Public Security force.
This is an opportunity for the public to admire and learn about the formation, fighting, building and maturing journey of the People's Public Security force over nearly eight decades.
The exhibition is divided into three main parts. The first part, H historical imprint, summarizes the birth and development of the force from 1945 to present. The second part, Cooperative relationship between the Peoples Public Security of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, recreates the solidarity and close coordination between the Public Security of the three countries, recreating a strategic link in protecting regional security.
The third part, "Effective, efficient, and effective Vietnam People's Public Security for a peaceful life", includes four sub-topics: regular, elite, modern Mobile Police force; skills of the Fire Prevention and Fighting force; skills and image of the Traffic Police's activities; and the topic "Special Teacher" introducing artistic products made by prisoners during the process of education and reform.

According to people and tourists visiting here, the highlight of the attraction is the artifacts and images from major cases that were once busted.
"When I was directly observed, I saw that the artifacts clearly demonstrated the intelligence and bravery of the People's Public Security force in the fight against drug crimes, one of the major dangers of today's society," said Ms. Bui Bich Hong (residing in Cau Giay Ward).
Not only introducing history and achievements, the exhibition is also interactive, helping visitors, especially students and young soldiers, to directly access specialized means and equipment.

Nguyen Quynh Hoa, an 11th grade student living in Hanoi, shared: Before, I only saw it online. Today, I can see with my own eyes the modern weapons and means and the story behind them to see how elite the police force is".
People can also observe professional techniques, learn about the principles of operation of many modern weapons and means, thereby better understanding the nature of the specific work and the silent sacrifice of the police force.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Major Nguyen Bich Van (officer of the People's Public Security Museum), said that since its opening on August 5, 2025, the exhibition has attracted a large number of visitors, including many delegations, forces in the industry and students from public security schools.

Many people expressed a strong impression of the richness of the artifacts and the scientific and vivid display method. This is also an opportunity for officers and soldiers to look back on the glorious journey of the industry, strengthening their pride and motivation to continue to contribute.
The exhibition "Vietnam People's Public Security - 80 years for peaceful life" is not only a meaningful commemorative activity but also a vibrant "class" of history, tradition, fighting spirit and serving the people.
