Strengthening forces to sample martyrs' remains at Hai Lang

Quang Tri - Border guard forces are strengthened to take samples of martyrs' remains at Hai Lang Martyrs' Cemetery, serving identification.

On August 22, the Border Guard Command of Quang Tri province said that the unit is increasing the number of officers and soldiers participating in taking samples of martyrs' remains at Hai Lang Martyrs' Cemetery, Dien Sanh commune.

Implementing Plan No. 4706/KH-BCĐ dated August 15, 2026 of the Quang Tri Provincial Steering Committee on taking samples, digitizing information and handing over samples of martyrs' remains, officers and soldiers of the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command are adjusted and strengthened to participate in performing tasks at Hai Lang Martyrs' Cemetery until completion.

Along with that, forces from Hai Lang, Nam Hai Lang, Trieu Co and Trieu Binh areas were mobilized back to the area to continue coordinating to perform the sampling task in the locality.

At Hai Lang Martyrs' Cemetery, the Border Guard force coordinated with functional forces to deploy the collection of martyrs' remains samples according to the correct procedures, ensuring progress and quality.

Sampling, information digitization and handover of martyr remains samples are to serve DNA testing and identify unidentified martyrs.

The activity contributes to accelerating the progress of identifying martyrs' remains, meeting the aspirations of relatives and families of martyrs and expressing the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source".
