Also on October 26, a resident was driving a motorbike on National Highway 24C (the road connecting Da Nang City with Quang Ngai Province), when he reached the Ca Da bridge abutment section through Song Y village (Tra Tan commune), the bridge abutment suddenly collapsed, creating a huge "death hole". At this time, the motorbike driver promptly jumped out to shore, while the motorbike fell into the hole and was covered with rocks and soil.
Upon receiving the report, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene to encourage passersby and mobilized excavators to support the victims in bringing the motorbike to shore. The local government also stretched out warning ropes for danger and banned vehicles from traveling across the bridge to ensure safety.
According to images recorded at the scene, a large road was torn open, creating a deep "death hole". At the foot of the bridge, the turbulent water is flowing. If they accidentally fall onto the bridge, they will likely be swept away by floodwaters.

In Tra Doc commune, at around 12:00 on October 26, a serious landslide occurred at the household of Mr. Ho Van Long (village 9, Tra Doc). After many hours of heavy rain, rocks and soil from the slope behind the house suddenly poured down, collapsing the entire family's bedroom of about 12 square meters. Many household items and newly harvested rice were soaked with water and were severely damaged. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any human casualties.
Immediately after receiving the news, local authorities and militia forces of Tra Doc commune were present at the scene, promptly supporting, helping the family clean up, overcome the consequences and move to a safe place.
