On April 4, in an exchange with reporters, a representative of the People's Committee of Thuc Phan ward (Cao Bang province) said that at about 8 am on the same day, at Km43 of Ho Chi Minh road (section passing through the ward), a collision occurred between an electric taxi and a truck going in the opposite direction.
According to initial information, an electric taxi with license plate 12H-019. 39 driven by Mr. Sam Phuoc K (born 1984, residing in Thuc Phan ward) in the direction of Hoa An - Thuc Phan collided head-on with a truck with license plate 20C-296. 41 driven by Mr. Doan Viet L (born 1987, residing in Hop Thanh commune, Thai Nguyen) in the opposite direction.
The direct collision caused both vehicles to be damaged, in which the electric taxi was heavily damaged in the front. Images recorded by people show that the front engine of the car was broken and flew out.
The accident injured driver Sam Phuoc K and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Currently, the cause of the incident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
