Tay Ninh warns people after crocodile appears in Tan Thanh commune

Tan Thanh commune government (Tay Ninh) issued an urgent notice after discovering a crocodile appearing on canal 42, advising people to raise their vigilance.

According to information from Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee, at about 4:00 PM on April 4, people in the area discovered a crocodile swimming in the canal. Through initial observation, the animal is about 1.5 m long, with an estimated weight of 20-25 kg. When detecting someone appearing, the crocodile quickly dived into the water and left the area.

Faced with the above situation, the Tan Thanh commune government has advised people to be vigilant when cultivating and living near canals and ditches, especially not to let children swim or swim to prevent unsafe risks.

The Commune People's Committee also requested people when they detect traces or locations of crocodiles reappearing, to quickly notify the government or local police forces to promptly deploy a plan to encircle and handle them according to regulations.

Currently, the case is being monitored by local authorities, and at the same time, they continue to advise people to proactively coordinate to provide information when crocodiles appear in the area.
