On March 15, in the atmosphere of the election day for the 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, a large number of Thai ethnic people in border communes of Tay Ninh province actively came to the polling stations to exercise their rights and citizens' obligations.
Recorded in Long Phuoc commune, from early morning many voters were present at the polling stations. Thanks to early propaganda deployed in many forms such as loudspeakers, banners, posters and direct mobilization in residential areas, people have clearly grasped the process and meaning of election day.

Voter Ha Duy Quyen (74 years old), a prestigious person in the Thai ethnic community, said that local people are very excited to participate in the great festival of the country. According to him, for people in border areas, elections are not only a right but also a responsibility of every citizen.
People hope that the delegates after being elected will pay more attention to the lives of farmers and ethnic minorities, especially in terms of production, transportation, electricity and domestic water," Mr. Quyen shared.
In Long Chu commune, Mr. Ha Viet Nham - Head of Phuoc Trung hamlet said that this area has 478 voters participating in the election, most of whom are Thai ethnic people. From early morning, many voters rushed to the polling station to exercise their citizenship rights.
To ensure that all voters participate fully, the locality has promoted propaganda in many forms, and at the same time arranged forces to guide voters to follow the correct procedures. For cases where elderly or sick voters cannot go to the polling station, the election teams bring auxiliary ballot boxes to their homes.


In My Quy border commune, the election atmosphere was also vibrant. From early morning, many voters were present at Hamlet 6 Cultural House - where the voting area No. 8 is located to exercise their citizens' rights and obligations.
Mr. Ho Van Ngu (72 years old, voter of hamlet 6) said that people in the hamlet proactively arranged their work to participate in the election early. According to him, each ballot shows the responsibility of the people for the development of the country.
Until nearly noon, the stream of voters at many polling stations in border communes continued. Votes were successively put into the ballot boxes in a serious atmosphere, showing the spirit of responsibility of border people towards the great festival of the country.
According to the Tay Ninh Provincial Election Commission, the whole province has about 2.4 million voters participating in voting at 1,664 polling stations in 96 communes and wards. In this election, the province has 25 candidates for National Assembly deputies for voters to elect 15 deputies; 135 candidates for Provincial People's Council deputies to elect 81 deputies; and 3,441 candidates for Commune People's Council deputies to elect 2,059 deputies.
