On the afternoon of June 12, the Organizing Committee of "Military-Civilian Tet" activities in 2027 of An Giang province organized a conference to deploy the plan for the Launching Ceremony to implement activities in 2027.
The conference approved the plan to organize the Launching Ceremony to implement "Military-Civilian Tet" activities in 2027 in Thanh Loc commune; listened to reports on the preparation work of the locality and relevant agencies and units; and at the same time discussed and agreed on contents and measures to coordinate organization to ensure closeness and effectiveness.
According to the plan, the send-off ceremony will be held on the morning of June 19, 2026 at the headquarters of Thanh Loc Commune People's Committee, combined with the commencement of construction of Kinh 6 rural traffic bridge in Hoa Loi hamlet. The program includes contents such as deploying the plan to implement "Military-Civilian Tet" activities in 2027, launching a thematic emulation movement, awarding symbolic boards to support housing construction costs, awarding scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties and study well, and organizing the commencement of social security projects in the area.
Reports at the conference showed that so far Thanh Loc commune has basically completed all preparations. Propaganda, visual encouragement, decoration of the ceremony, sound, lighting, art programs, ensuring security and order, health, traffic, environmental sanitation and conditions to serve delegates have been deployed synchronously. The locality has also coordinated to prepare for the commencement of Kinh 6 bridge, select students to receive scholarships and mobilize forces to participate in activities according to plan.
Concluding the conference, Colonel Cao Minh Tam - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, Standing Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of "Military-Civilian Tet" activities in 2027 requested agencies, units, and localities to continue to review and complete each content of work; strengthen coordination and close coordination, ensuring sufficient facilities, security, and absolute safety for the Send-off Ceremony and related activities.
The comrade emphasized that this is a practical activity to promote the overall strength of the entire political system, armed forces and people in implementing projects and tasks towards grassroots levels, contributing to caring for people's lives, consolidating the great national unity bloc and building new rural areas in the province.
