On December 30, acknowledging the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed Decision No. 2826/QD-TTg officially establishing Tam Anh University under the Tam Anh General Hospital System in Ben Luc, Tay Ninh (old Long An). The school will be built on an initial area of nearly 80 thousand square meters, with a total initial investment estimated at over 2,500 billion VND.
The establishment of a university with in-depth capacity in medical training such as scientific research, medical examination and treatment practice, vaccination and production of high-quality vaccines and biological products is an important bright spot of Vietnam in the context that the Vietnamese health system is being assigned important tasks by the Party and Government to strengthen comprehensive and in-depth health care for the people, especially to meet the needs of high-quality medical examination and treatment equivalent to the world right in Vietnam.

Accordingly, high-quality medical human resources will be the top important factor and need to have a standard, methodical and breakthrough development strategy in technology, and high-level international cooperation. Tam Anh University with advantages in practice facilities such as the Tam Anh General Hospital System, VNVC Vaccination System, leading pharmaceutical companies, vaccine and biological factories... is expected to quickly train a team of highly qualified and comprehensive human resources in the coming time.
