On January 23, Lang Son Provincial Inspectorate held a conference to randomly select 56 civil servants and public employees in the province to verify their assets and income.
The above officials were selected from a total of 429 people at 8 agencies and units.
At the conference, delegates used computer software to randomly select a list of 56 civil servants and public employees from 8 agencies and units.
The selection list includes the Department of Education and Training with 15 people; the Department of Foreign Affairs: 2 people; the Provincial Radio and Television Station with 2 people; the Provincial People's Committee Office with 3 people; the Provincial Ethnic Committee with 2 people; the Trang Dinh District People's Committee with 15 people; the Van Lang District People's Committee with 13 people; and the Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited with 4 people.
According to the plan, the Provincial Inspectorate will divide the verification into 4 phases to be implemented in 4 quarters of 2025.
After the selection results are available, the Provincial Inspector will issue a verification decision and establish working groups to carry out the tasks.
According to the 2025 asset and income verification plan of the Provincial Inspectorate, the verification content focuses on checking the honesty, completeness, and clarity of the asset and income declaration of the person with the obligation to declare.
At the same time, the verification also aims to check the honesty in the process of explaining the source of additional income of these subjects.
This activity is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Anti-Corruption, requiring the Provincial Inspectorate to select at least 20% of the total number of agencies and units under its control, with each agency selecting at least 10% of the subjects to declare assets and income annually.
