Overcoming the storm thanks to sharing
Hearing the news that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Central working delegation will come to inspect the situation of overcoming the consequences of the storm, since early morning on November 13, dozens of households in An Quang Dong village (De Gi commune, Gia Lai) have put all their work on hold waiting for the Prime Minister.
Meeting with one eye, the close handshake reassured households that were in trouble, lost their homes, and lost their livelihoods overnight, when the fierce storm swept through. words of encouragement, asking gently - "Do you have a shortage of rice, food, and clothing? Are there electricity, water, and medicine yet?" - of the Prime Minister as a way to relieve some of the losses of the people of the coastal areas.

An Quang Dong village has 26 households, of which 8 households have completely lost their homes, the rest are severely damaged; the livelihood of the poor - shrimp pond - was also swept away by storms and high tides. After many days of struggling in the midst of the rubble, people's faces are always filled with worries and worries. Looking at their eyes, everyone confessed, no need to ask.
However, just a few words of the Prime Minister have gently relieved the burdens in their hearts throughout the past week. " Those who lose their homes will be able to build houses, the State will support the people. Those who have damaged houses should declare for help. People have to move to resettlement areas, not stay in dangerous areas anymore to stabilize their lives," the Prime Minister said in front of the people.

The sun-white, hazy faces due to the sea wind, tired eyes after many empty nights now glow with confidence, when the new place and new livelihood will be supported by the State with preferential loans, debt extension, debt suspension, cage support, breeding...
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyet (born in 1976, residing in An Quang Dong village, De Gi commune) - a resident who lost her house due to storm No. 13 - shared that the small house built in 2010 was completely collapsed, now only the water bank remains. But sadly, the shrimp pond worth nearly 600 million VND - the family's livelihood - could not fly.

"Hearing your story, the people here are very happy. Happy to meet, to share thoughts and concerns in my heart. The more joyful it is that people who have suffered losses will be supported with new housing. Here, it is very anxious, the waves seem to hang above my head," Ms. Tuyet confided.
According to Ms. Tuyet, this area is often affected by high tides, and houses have collapsed many times. "We keep accumulating money to build temporarily, little money is not enough to build a solid house, so we worry every rainy and stormy season. Now that they have been resettled to a new place, people are leaving immediately, very happy," she said.
