Taking advantage of favorable weather, at the construction site of VT24 power pole in Xuan Quang commune, Bao Thang district, Lao Cai province, the construction team consisted of 18 technical staff and workers working day and night in 3 shifts and 4 teams.
This is a location that is assessed to have rugged terrain and is difficult to construct. Therefore, in addition to the increased machinery, human resources are also mobilized to work through the holiday to complete the entire workload before May 5.


Mr. Le Van Hong - Head of the VT24 Construction Team, Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV Line Project - shared: "During the April 30 - May holiday, under the direction of the investor, officers and workers of Song Da Construction and Service Joint Stock Company still mobilized 100% of the workforce to construct, trying to ensure safety, progress and quality of the project".
Mr. Vu Dinh Binh - technical officer in charge of the construction - also said that with the urgent progress of the project, the contractor has arranged to increase human resources and machinery; assigned personnel to carry out construction throughout the holiday.
Up to now, VT37 - VT52 locations in Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province alone have had 2 locations VT42, VT51 completed the pole construction work.

In package 3, the Hung An - Viet Vuong consortium of contractors has completed 35 locations, completed digging foundations at 10 locations and is digging foundations at 25 locations.
Due to the changing weather and complicated construction conditions, the investor has requested the contractor to add 10 construction teams (about 120-150 people), increase overnight work, and take measures to protect the foundation housing construction to avoid rainwater from affecting.



Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan - a worker at the construction site shared: "Because it is almost the rainy season, affecting the construction, we work overtime at night. The main work is digging the foundation, pouring the foundation and perfecting techniques.
Due to overtime, the brothers get additional meals at night as well as increased income. Although it is difficult, our workers clearly define the spirit from the beginning: We must do our best to ensure the project reaches the finish line on schedule.


Talking to labor, Mr. Do Quang Khai - Deputy Director of the Management Board of Power Project 1 and Director of the Executive Board of the 500 KV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen Line Project said: The holiday season 30.4 - 1.5, on the construction site of the project through Lao Cai province, nearly 1,000 workers and technical staff are determined to "overcome the sun, win the rain", work at night, strive to bring the project to the finish line.
At the locations for placing poles through Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho and Yen Bai provinces, contractors are also focusing on human resources, materials as well as machinery for construction. In particular, there are locations on mountains that are prioritized for construction before the rainy season to avoid affecting the transportation of materials and materials.

According to Mr. Do Quang Khai, this is an important project in the national power transmission system, playing a key role in enhancing the capacity to transmit power sources from hydropower plants in the Northwest region.
Therefore, the progress is being calculated daily for contractors. Currently, the unit is actively accompanying contractors to remove arising difficulties and speed up the project's progress.
With the spirit of "united - determined - overcoming difficulties - reaching the finish line early", EVN and the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union have just launched an emulation movement to complete the project before September 2, 2025. Specific emulation milestones include: Complete foundation casting in May 2025; complete pole installation in July 2025; complete day-spreading work in August 2025 and complete the project's energization on August 31, 2025.
