On the afternoon of September 15, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) of Quang Tri Provincial Police confirmed that it had handed over the body of the young man found on the river to his family for funeral arrangements.
Previously, at 2:00 p.m. the same day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department received a report of a suspected drowning person at Bach Dang Bridge in Dong Ha Ward (Quang Tri Province).
The Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 1 and a specialized vehicle arrived at the scene and organized a search. At around 3:00 p.m., the rescue team found the victim's body at the foot of Bach Dang Bridge.
It is known that the victim was L.H.N (born in 2002, residing in Dong Ha ward).
Previously, people discovered a phone with sandals on Bach Dang Bridge, suspecting that someone had drowned there, so they reported it to the authorities.
