According to PC08, on October 12, nearly 1,700 violations were inspected and fined, including 571 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 2 cases of drugs, nearly 80 cases of 3-4 wheel vehicles that did not ensure technical safety, and nearly 250 cases of violation handling notices were sent via images to vehicle owners and violators.
Thus, after 2 days of implementing the peak of handling violations to ensure traffic safety and order to serve the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police have fined about 3,400 cases, of which more than 1,100 cases violated alcohol concentration.
Previously, on October 11, PC08 Department organized a campaign to handle violations of alcohol and drug concentrations in the area.
According to the representative of the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, the situation of traffic order and safety in the city has had many complicated developments in recent times. Violations of alcohol and drug concentrations tend to increase. This is one of the direct causes of serious accidents.
In the face of the above situation, the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department directed the Traffic Police Department to organize and deploy a plan to mobilize forces to handle violations of alcohol and drug concentration.
