From the people's reflection, on July 15, we followed the traces to Dinh Trang Thuong commune (Lam Dong) to record illegal stone mining activities here.
At the time we arrived, this stone quarry was located in the coffee growing area of people in Dinh Trang Thuong commune, still operating openly on a large scale.
To exploit the stone, the subjects used excavators to dig a large area of thousands of square meters in the coffee plantation.
The stone quarry site is about 1km from the main inter-commune road along the bird's nest route. Every day, there are many vehicles moving back and forth.
However, according to local people, this stone quarry still blatantly existed and operated for a long time.
Recorded at the scene, there were 3 excavators operating excavators to level the ground. Along with that, there are 5 dump trucks transporting stone here.
An excavator is rushing to scrap the top layer of soil, revealing large orphaned rocks. The remaining excavators were used to move the finished stone onto the dump truck and left the scene with the support of a number of people.
The entire land surface affected for stone mining is estimated at thousands of square meters. Near the quarry, there is a similar but smaller gravel mining site.

According to the investigation, the owner of the land where the above stone is being mined is a man named T, a construction materials trader in Dinh Trang Thuong commune.
To have finished stone to serve the needs of the construction market, this person has cooperated with a number of people who specialize in clearing stone to exploit stone.
At the scene, large rocks were dug by excavators, removed from the ground, and cracked into small pieces of finished product by workers and transported for consumption.
Regarding the above stone mining site, the People's Committee of Dinh Trang Thuong commune said that it will direct the competent authorities to inspect and handle it immediately.
Previously, as soon as the commune-level administrative unit was merged and the organizational apparatus was stabilized, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dinh Trang Thuong commune directed functional departments to coordinate in inspecting and reviewing the management of land and minerals in the area to promptly detect and strictly handle violations.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported on the large-scale illegal quarrying of crushed stone in Bao Lam 2 Commune (Lam Dong Province).
Among them, there is a large stone quarry of thousands of square meters located in a coffee plantation in Thanh Binh village (Bao Lam 2 commune).
Currently, the People's Committee of Bao Lam 2 commune is assigning the commune police to investigate and clarify violations related to this stone mining tunnel.
