According to the Traffic Police Department, on August 13, the Vietnam Road Administration issued a decision approving the adjustment and supplementation of the pilot traffic organization plan for lane division and speed regulation on the Hanoi - Hai Phong and Phap Van - Cau Gie expressways.
Based on the proposal of the Traffic Police Department, after discussion and agreement between the two units, the Vietnam Road Administration reported and was approved by the Ministry of Construction to organize the implementation of the pilot plan.
For the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway:
Line 1: Maximum speed allowed: 120 km/h; minimum speed allowed: 90 km/h.
- Prohibit all types of vehicles from circulating, including: Common trucks, except for single-track pickup trucks, double-track pickup trucks, VAN trucks; Specialized trucks, except for money-carrying cars; Specialized cars; Tractor-trailers; Tractor-trailers.
Line 2: Maximum speed: 120 km/h; minimum speed: 80 km/h. Allowing cars to circulate.
Line 3: Maximum speed allowed: 100 km/h; minimum speed allowed: 60 km/h. Allowing cars to circulate.

For the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway:
Line 1: Maximum speed allowed: 100 km/h; minimum speed allowed: 80 km/h.
Prohibit all types of vehicles from circulating, including: Common trucks, except for single-track pickup trucks, double-track pickup trucks, VAN trucks; Specialized trucks, except for money-carrying cars; Specialized cars; Tractor-trailers; Tractor-trailers.
Line 2: Maximum speed allowed: 100 km/h; minimum speed allowed: 70 km/h. Allowing cars to circulate.
Line 3: Maximum speed allowed: 100 km/h; minimum speed allowed: 60 km/h. Allowing cars to circulate.
