On January 14, Dak Song Border Guard Station (Lam Dong province) informed that the unit had just handed over a wallet to a citizen who unfortunately dropped it on the road.
Previously, at about 7 am on the same day, while performing duties in Thuan Hanh commune, Lieutenant Tran Van Thong, Team Leader of the Drug and Crime Prevention Team of Dak Song Border Guard Station (Lam Dong province), picked up a wallet. Inside the wallet was nearly 4 million VND in cash and personal papers in the name of Mr. Le Chi Quyen (residing in Duc An commune, Lam Dong province).
Immediately after picking up the wallet, Lieutenant Tran Van Thong quickly reported to the unit commander, conducted information verification and organized the full return of property to the victim. Receiving the wallet back, Mr. Le Chi Quyen expressed his emotion and sent sincere thanks to Lieutenant Tran Van Thong and officers and soldiers of Dak Song Border Guard Station.
The beautiful action of Lieutenant Tran Van Thong shows the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", leaving a good impression in the hearts of the people.
