On the morning of April 22, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, thousands of boxes of functional foods, masks, and COVID-19 test kit thrown everywhere on the sidewalk of Nguyen Lan Street (Khuong Mai Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi) have been collected.
Talking with reporters, Mr. Tran Xuan Duy - Chairman of Khuong Mai Ward People's Committee informed that the above goods were collected by the Ward's functional forces to serve the investigation and verification of origin.
"We have notified the Thanh Xuan District Health Department and are waiting for that unit to come down to check whether this goods are hazardous waste or not. When the inspection results are available, we will inform the Newspaper," said Mr. Duy.
It is known that Khuong Mai Ward Police are also coordinating with relevant functional units to invite representatives of the production unit, responsible for the functional food products in the above incident, to work.

According to information printed outside the health protection food box named "An De Mon Linh", the unit responsible for the product is A-M Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Trading Development Company Limited (address: 54A, lane 192 Le Trong Tan, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi). The product is produced at Bao Nguyen Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (located at Dong Van 1 Industrial Park, Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province).
However, at address 54A, 192 Le Trong Tan, there is currently no unit named "A-M Pharmaceutical Cosmetics Development and Trading Company Limited" operating.
At the time of being thrown everywhere on the sidewalk, thousands of boxes of "An De Linh" health protection food and some other types had expired.

"These goods must be handled according to regulations, they cannot be thrown away like this. I saw someone picked up the mask and brought it home," a resident shared.
