Started on May 19, 2026, the National Highway 1A spatial axis project, the section from Kim Lien tunnel area (belonging to Kim Lien and Bach Mai wards) to Cau Gie intersection (Chuyen My commune) has a total length of about 36.3km, passing through 18 communes and wards of Hanoi city.
The project has a total investment of nearly 162,000 billion VND. The road axis has a cross-section scale of up to 90m, including 10 lanes on the main route and 6 parallel lanes on both sides, the design speed is 80km/h.
According to the plan, the project will complete the construction of the infrastructure system in 2027, completing the road traffic network of Hanoi city according to the Capital Plan with a 100-year vision.

The section passing through Chuyen My commune is about 2.06km long, passing through Thuong Yen, Phu Yen and Bai Le villages. The total planned land area to be recovered is about 23.1ha.
It is expected that about 245 organizations, households, and individuals will be affected by land acquisition for project implementation. Among them, there are about 5 land management organizations, 55 households with residential land, and 185 households with agricultural land.
It is expected that about 40 households and individuals are eligible for resettlement at the planned location of Vang Thap field area, Thuong Yen village, Chuyen My commune, with a scale of about 1.5ha.
Over the past time, the work of inventorying land area and assets attached to land to serve site clearance for projects in the commune has been implemented quickly and conveniently.
On July 15, 2026, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Chuyen My commune organized the appraisal of draft plans for compensation and GPMB support and publicly posted draft plans at common living locations of villages where land is recovered, so that people know, follow and participate in giving opinions according to regulations.
After a period of public listing, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Chuyen My commune organized appraisal and approved 132 compensation and site clearance support plans for phase 1 of the National Highway 1A spatial axis project. The total area of agricultural land for compensation and site clearance in phase 1 is 27,2797.1m2, corresponding to 132 households and individuals. The total cost of compensation and site clearance in phase 1 is more than 31 billion VND.
Following that, on August 11, 2026, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Chuyen My commune continued to appraise 46 compensation and site clearance support plans for 1 organization, which is the People's Committee of Chuyen My commune, and 45 households and individuals with land and assets attached to land within the scope of recovery to implement the project. The total area of land recovered in phase 2 is 98,251.4m2, with a total compensation and site clearance cost estimated at nearly 22 billion VND.

In Chuong Duong commune, the project passes through with a length of about 3.9km, the total expected area to be cleared is about 36ha. This is a large volume of work, directly related to the rights, land, assets and lives of many households and individuals in the area.
For the project to be implemented on schedule, along with the drastic involvement of Party committees, authorities and functional agencies, the consensus, support and coordination of the people is extremely important.
Households and individuals with land and assets within the project implementation scope need to proactively coordinate with functional agencies in the process of inventorying, measuring, verifying the origin of land, preparing and publicizing compensation, support, and resettlement plans in accordance with regulations.
People need to fully understand the State's guidelines and policies on compensation, support, and resettlement; properly implement regulations on land and site clearance. When there are unclear issues, people can reflect and exchange with local authorities and functional agencies for timely guidance and answers.
