On the morning of September 24, in Khanh Hoa, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a training session on propaganda skills for APEC Vietnam Year 2027.
The conference was attended by experts, lecturers and speakers with extensive experience in the fields of foreign information, journalism, media and digital transformation.
This is an important resource to provide knowledge, approaches associated with the practical requirements of information, propaganda and digital transformation of the press; thereby improving modern communication capacity towards APEC Year 2027.
Mr. Dang Khac Loi - Deputy Director of the Press Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism - said that in 2027, Khanh Hoa province will take on the role of host of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2027 Forum.
According to Mr. Dang Khac Loi, APEC 2027 is one of the important multilateral foreign affairs events of the country during this period.
The event is not simply organizing high-level conferences but also an opportunity for Vietnam to affirm its position, thereby strongly promoting the image of a dynamic, peaceful country, rich in cultural identity, sustainable development and a reliable destination for investment, trade, and tourism.
From there, Mr. Dang Khac Loi affirmed that information and propaganda work plays a pioneering role, opening the way, must be proactive, carefully and methodically prepared, early and from afar, absolutely not waiting until the event takes place to deploy.
Accordingly, the training conference is designed with two working sessions in the morning and afternoon.
The morning working session focused on equipping representatives of departments of culture, sports and tourism, press agencies, reporters, and editors with a comprehensive, accurate and in-depth knowledge system about APEC.
The afternoon working session focused on specific solutions and actions through improving the efficiency of digital transformation of the press, with models accumulated from the period 2023-2025 of many press agencies across the country.
The models introduced at the conference come from press agencies such as Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Lao Dong Newspaper...
Through this, press agencies can self-position their technological capacity, thereby upgrading, reforming, ensuring information system security and preparing resources to participate in information and propaganda work about APEC 2027.
Honor of Khanh Hoa province
At the training session, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien - Standing Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - said that with strengths in economic, tourism and cultural development, Khanh Hoa province was chosen as the venue for the Conference of Deputy Ministers of Finance and Deputy Governors of the Central Bank in February 2027. This is both an honor and a great responsibility.
According to Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, the success of the conference will have the important contribution of press agencies in conveying information and promoting the image of Vietnam to international friends.
Mr. Nguyen Long Bien hopes that each reporter, editor and official working in information and propaganda will be a core propagandist, transforming the knowledge and skills acquired into sharp, effective, and practical communication products to serve the political tasks of the industry and localities.
