On the afternoon of August 4, representatives of Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT Investment Joint Stock Company said that the landslide point at Km12+600 provincial road 155, the BOT toll station area on the road leading to Mong Sen bridge has been temporarily opened to traffic after many hours of urgent repair.
Previously, at about 9:20 am on the same day, a positive taluy landslide in the area of the BOT toll station on provincial road 155 caused the road leading to Mong Sen bridge to temporarily stop traffic to ensure safety and serve the recovery work.
Immediately after the incident, Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT Investment Joint Stock Company mobilized excavators, cars and manpower to focus on clearing soil and rocks and clearing the road surface.
Overcoming work is continuously deployed under the coordination of the Traffic Police force and related units.

By the afternoon of the same day, the volume of soil and rocks was basically treated, and vehicles could again circulate through the area according to the regulation of functional forces.
Representatives of Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT Investment Joint Stock Company said that the unit still arranges machinery, vehicles and personnel to be on duty at the scene to continue handling landslides, ensuring smooth and safe traffic.
Functional forces recommend that people and drivers when traveling through provincial road 155 and Mong Sen bridge area need to reduce speed, maintain a safe distance, comply with traffic regulation instructions and do not stop or park in locations at risk of landslides.
