    Lao Cai - Heavy rain caused about 200m3 of soil and rocks to landslide on National Highway 4D towards Sa Pa.

    On August 4, information from Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company 299, at about 5:10 am on the same day, nearly 200m3 of soil and rock suddenly slid down National Highway 4D towards Sa Pa, causing temporary traffic congestion.

    According to a representative of Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company 299, immediately after the incident occurred, the unit mobilized machinery, vehicles and manpower to deploy site clearance and handle the entire amount of landslide soil and rock.

    By about 6 am on the same day, National Highway 4D was reopened to traffic, ensuring smooth traffic flow.

    Talking to reporters, Mr. Vu Xuan Quy - Chairman of Ta Phin Commune People's Committee said that the landslide point occurred in the area where Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company 299 is implementing a project to overcome landslides on National Highway 4D.

    Immediately after the incident occurred, the construction unit mobilized machinery and manpower to clear soil and rocks, urgently khắc phục the scene. Up to now, National Highway 4D has been thông xe (opened to traffic), ensuring normal traffic for vehicles.
