On April 9, the People's Committee of Long Thanh district worked with the Provincial People's Committee Working Group on site clearance for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project through Long Thanh district is about 28km long, with a total land area to be reclaimed of nearly 228 hectares. To date, Long Thanh district has mobilized the handover of more than 222 hectares of land, reaching a rate of more than 97% of the recovered land area.
Of which, there are 4 communes where 100% of households agree to hand over the land without having to enforce the enforcement decision, namely Phuoc Binh commune, An Phuoc commune, Long Phuoc commune and Tan Hiep commune. Localities with a rate of over 99% are Loc An commune and Phuoc Thai commune.
Currently, there are nearly 300 households that have not yet handed over the site, the locality is continuing to mobilize, if people deliberately do not do so, enforcement will be carried out according to regulations.
According to the plan, the district will complete site clearance before April 20, 2025.
