On the first day of 2025, Cha Lo Border Gate Customs Branch arranged full staff on duty at the border gate, promptly supporting and guiding businesses on customs policies and procedures.
In addition, the unit handles customs procedures quickly and in accordance with regulations, facilitating import-export, transit, and entry-exit activities through border gates.
There are 34 declarations for import, export and transit goods. Of these, 2 declarations are for export, 19 declarations are for import, and 13 declarations are for transit.
Exports include mainly dried garlic; imports include potassium fertilizer, energy drinks, iron ore, dried cassava chips, glutinous rice, rubber; transit includes potassium fertilizer, durian, and charcoal.
The number of vehicles entering and exiting the country on January 1 reached 665. Of which, 402 were exits and 263 were entries. The state budget revenue reached 2.5 billion VND.
Compared to the same period last year, the number of entries and exits decreased when on January 1, 2024 it reached 711 arrivals.
