Sending a question to Vietnam Social Insurance, reader N.T.D said: "My mother is 51 years old this year and is participating in voluntary social insurance. May I ask, what procedures are required to change my citizen identification card information directly? ".
Regarding this issue, Vietnam Social Security responds as follows:
To change information about voluntary social insurance participation in a direct manner, people should go to a service organization or a social insurance agency in the area, declare the participation declaration, and adjust social insurance and health insurance information.
Declaration information according to form TK1-TS issued with the collection process of social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational accident and disease insurance; management of social insurance books, health insurance cards of Vietnam Social Insurance - Consolidated document No. 2525/VBHN-BHXH dated August 15, 2023 of Vietnam Social Insurance.
At the same time, provide citizen identification information (amended) to adjust information on voluntary social insurance participation.
100% integrated on the National Public Service Portal
From July 1, regulations on the model of local government at 2 levels in the field of social insurance and health insurance will officially take effect.
According to Vietnam Social Insurance, the information technology system and software of Vietnam Social Insurance have been upgraded, updated with appropriate features and utilities.
Currently, Vietnam Social Security has provided 70 full-process online public services and has been 100% integrated on the National Public Service Portal, meeting the requirements of people and businesses. Organizations and individuals can choose to submit documents via electronic transactions to save time and costs.
At the same time, with a new organizational model associated with the two-level local government, Vietnam Social Security has restructured professional processes, linking with population data and data of ministries and branches; cutting down on procedures with data (residence, identification card, social insurance, vehicle registration, driver's license, etc.).
On that basis, promote the implementation of receiving and handling administrative procedures regardless of administrative boundaries, accordingly, many current administrative procedures can be chosen by employees to pay at any social insurance agency that is most convenient.
The change in arrangement according to the two models of provincial and municipal social insurance and grassroots social insurance (not organizing district-level social insurance) does not affect the settlement of regimes and rights of participants and beneficiaries.
From July 1, 2025, the whole country will officially switch to a two-level local government model including provinces/cities and communes/wards/ Towns, eliminating district and county levels.
This is an important step in reforming the administrative apparatus, towards the goal of streamlining, efficiency and effectiveness in state management.
At the same time, from 306, the national database system has updated new personal information for people on the VNeID application, including hometown and permanent address according to the new administrative boundaries.
