On September 19, the Inspection Delegation of the Steering Committee for Key Projects of Hoa Binh province, led by Mr. Bui Van Khanh - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the progress of 4 key projects in Lac Thuy district.
According to the report of Lac Thuy District People's Committee, Huong Binh Cable Car Project (in Phu Nghia Commune), invested by Thai Binh Duong Tourism Company Limited, started construction in May 2023. Up to now, 12/12 column foundations, 4-storey station foundation (Hoa Binh head), rough construction and completion of some other items have been completed. Expected to operate in January 2025.
The Lac Thuy Cultural Tourism and Resort Project (in Phu Nghia Commune) has cleared 108.36/114.2 hectares of land; some households have not agreed to the compensation price; some graves have not agreed to be relocated for spiritual reasons.
Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Light Lime Powder Factory Project (in Yen Bong Commune) is invested by Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Company Limited. Total area of use is 143.8ha. Port project has cleared 9.74/29.55ha. Light lime powder factory project has cleared 80.14/101.80ha.
For the Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Cement Factory Project (in Yen Bong commune), the total cleared area is currently 24.55/77.77ha.
At the meeting, representatives of investors reported on the progress of implementation and difficulties in the implementation process.
Some issues include difficulties in negotiating with affected households within the project area due to the loss of land use right certificates; the origin of the land has not been verified, etc. At the same time, we hope to receive support to shorten the time for investment procedures.
Concluding the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khanh assigned the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, Natural Resources and Environment, Planning and Investment, and Construction to actively coordinate to remove difficulties and support businesses to speed up the time to carry out legal procedures on land use conversion, investment policy adjustment, construction licensing, etc.
Investors are requested to focus resources to overcome difficult times, speed up progress, and ensure effective implementation of projects.
According to the reporter's research, the Huong Binh Cable Car Project has a total investment of more than 1,700 billion VND; Lac Thuy Cultural Tourism and Resort has a total investment of more than 3,000 billion VND; Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Lime and Light Powder Factory has a total investment of more than 8,000 billion VND and Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Cement Factory has a total investment of 29,800 billion VND.
