Lao Cai - On the evening of September 22, according to information from Bao Thang District Police, Xuan Quang Commune Police organized the handover of a bag of gold jewelry left in a charity box.

Accordingly, the owner of the above assets is Ms. Phan Thi Dao, residing in My An ward, Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang city.

On the afternoon of September 16, while sorting the charity relief goods sent by Da Nang people to support people in the flooded areas of Lao Cai, some people in Bac Ngam village, Xuan Quang commune, Bao Thang district discovered a cloth bag containing many gold and precious stone jewelry mixed in a box of books and clothes.

Then everyone contacted a volunteer group in Da Nang city to find the owner, and also reported the incident to the Commune Police.

Receiving information from the people of Xuan Quang commune, the volunteer group posted information and pictures of the carton containing the bag of gold (the outside of the box was labeled "Tan Khang Group" and inside the box were books labeled Cong Minh 6/12, Xuan Nam 3/12... Le Loi Secondary School, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang) on ​​social networks to find the owner.

Immediately afterwards, Ms. Phan Thi Dao informed the Da Nang volunteer group and Xuan Quang Commune Police that she was the owner of the bag of gold that was left in a box of clothes and books sent to Xuan Quang Commune.

Through the information channels of the press and the Da Nang volunteer group, the package was identified as belonging to two students, Cong Minh and Xuan Nam, from Le Loi Secondary School, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang City. These two students are relatives of Ms. Phan Thi Dao - wife of the chairman of Tan Khang Group in Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang.

“After discovering the incident, Ms. Phan Thi Dao contacted the Xuan Quang Commune Police and accurately described the information and characteristics of the gold that the volunteer group found. Due to being busy with work, Ms. Dao could not come out to directly receive the gold and jewelry, but authorized a person in Hanoi to receive it on her behalf," Lieutenant Colonel Pham Dinh Tuan, Head of Xuan Quang Commune Police, informed.

It is known that the forgotten jewelry includes: 1 gold necklace with a white pearl; 1 bracelet; 4 gold rings (with pink, blue, white stones); 1 pair of earrings and 1 necklace...
