Golf course nearly 400 billion VND
The Glory Golf Course Project in Thanh Cong Commune (Pho Yen City) has an area of nearly 54 hectares, with a scale of 18 holes. The investor is MDA G&C Company Limited. The project has a total investment of nearly 388 billion VND with many accompanying auxiliary works. Construction started in early 2024, and the shape of the golf course has gradually emerged.
According to PV on October 15, contractors are leveling the ground and constructing auxiliary works. Hundreds of workers and equipment have been mobilized to speed up construction.
According to Mr. Dang Van Ty - Chairman of Thanh Cong Commune People's Committee, the project has cleared 45 hectares of land, reaching 83% of the total area. The locality is focusing on propagating and mobilizing people to agree on the remaining 10 hectares to speed up the land allocation progress.
The land area has been handed over, the construction unit is planting grass on the golf course, expected to be put into trial operation by March 2025.
According to the project schedule, from the fourth quarter of 2023 to the second quarter of 2025, the construction of the golf course, clubhouse, ancillary works and equipment procurement will be implemented. From the third quarter of 2025, the project will be completed and put into operation.
Glory Golf Course is located in Nhe hamlet, 12 km from Pho Yen city center, more than 30 km from Thai Nguyen city center, and 60 km from Hanoi city center.
The project is located in the North of the Ring Road 5 of the capital planning area, and in the South it is located in Suoi Lanh Lake. The golf course is not far from Yen Binh Industrial Park (Pho Yen City), which includes Samsung's factory in Thai Nguyen.
18 hole golf course, international standard
Tan Thai Commune Golf Course Sports Area (Dai Tu District) is invested by Tan Thai Golf Joint Stock Company with a capital of nearly 600 billion VND, with a scale of 84.2 hectares. Including an 18-hole golf course according to international standards. In addition, there are also operating buildings, auxiliary works, landscape trees, and a resort accommodation area.
After nearly a year of implementation, a large construction site has been formed. Hundreds of workers and machinery have been mobilized to level mountains and hills to create a flat surface and rough shape for the golf course.
After the rough part of the project is completed, the golf course will be shaped with grass planting, electrical installation, lighting, watering, and landscaping.
According to information from the People's Committee of Tan Thai Commune, the project's progress is still on schedule and exceeds the set plan. The project site has basically been handed over to the construction unit. The locality is continuing to resolve some remaining problems.
The project is expected to be completed by April 2025. Tan Thai Golf Course is located in a prime location near Nui Coc Lake tourist area. Nearly 10km from the center of Thai Nguyen City. When completed, the goal will promote tourism, contribute to job creation, increase budget revenue, and develop the economy and society.
According to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Thai Nguyen proposed to plan the construction of 13 golf courses associated with functional areas of resorts, entertainment and recreation in Pho Yen City, Dai Tu District, Thai Nguyen City, Song Cong City, Phu Binh District and Dong Hy District.
Currently, apart from the two projects mentioned above, Thai Nguyen does not have any golf courses in operation.
