Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway (phase 1), belonging to group A project, over 104km long. The project has a total investment of 13,800 billion VND. The project's starting point connects to the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway, the ending point is Tan Quang commune.
The project section through Tuyen Quang province (old) is over 77km long, worth 8,800 billion VND. The section through Ha Giang province (old) is over 27km long, with a total investment of over 5,000 billion VND.
Implemented since 2023, the project is expected to increase traffic connectivity between Tuyen Quang and neighboring areas. At the same time, it contributes to promoting socio-economic development in the Northern mountainous region.
PV recorded at the beginning of March 2026, after a long period of construction, the trillion-dong expressway project across Tuyen Quang has gradually taken shape. Many sections of the route have been paved and asphalted.
At the construction site, hundreds of workers and machinery are being mobilized to implement the project. In parallel with the roadbed construction process, bridges, culverts, and resettlement items on the route are also being constructed synchronously.
According to the report of the Project Management Board for Construction Investment Project No. 1 of Tuyen Quang province, the project section passing through Tuyen Quang province (old) has been and is implementing 13/13 construction packages. Roadbed K95 completion reached 92%; roadbed K98 completion reached 86.5%; asphalt concrete paving reached 27.8%...
Currently, more than 119 construction fronts are being deployed. The total number of machinery and equipment on the route includes 1,072 equipment with 1,090 personnel. The accumulated construction value reached 66.5% of the contract value.
For 3 bidding packages passing through Ha Giang province (old), asphalt concrete construction, traffic safety items, guardrails, and warning signs are currently being organized.
The total number of personnel present at the site is 753 people with more than 395 construction machinery and equipment. The output value reached 85% of the contract value, meeting 97.5% of the set plan.
Regarding the project, Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc requested the investor to focus on directing and contractors to supplement machinery and equipment for synchronous construction, focusing on solving problems at the site.
It is necessary to review, adjust, and supplement the construction arrangement work, organize 3 shifts, 4 teams to accelerate progress. Localities must definitively resolve site clearance and resettlement for the remaining households, ensuring clear site handover to the construction unit.
In particular, mobilize machinery and manpower, organize the construction of the entire route, striving to basically complete the entire 68.9Km section by April 30.
